OLD AGE HOME PROGORAMME, Mudikondan
Our organization was running Multi Service Centre for the Aged at Saliyanchavadi, Kshetrabalapuram Village, Kuttalam Taluk, Nagapattinam District from the year 1994 – 95. Since 1st April 2018, as per the instructions from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi, this Multi Service Centre was converted as Old Age Home(Senior Citizen Home) at Mudikondan Village, Nannilam Taluk of Tiruvarur District.
OLD AGE HOME PROGORAMME, Kumbakonam
Our organization was running Multi Service Centre for the Aged at Gandhi Nagar, Maruvathur Village, Vaitheeswarankoil, Nagapattinam District from the year 1994 – 95. Since 1st April 2018, as per the instructions from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi, this Multi Service Centre was converted as Old Age Home (Senior Citizen Home) at Ullur Village, Kumbakonam Taluk of Thanjavur District.
Old Age Home Progoramme, Kuttalam
Our organization is running an Old Age Home (Senior Citizen Home) unit at Kshetrabalapuram village, Kuttalam Taluk since 1st March 2000. In this Old Age Home we admit 25 elder persons, out of 25 elder persons 19 belong to women and the rest 6 belongs to men. They are orphans in condition and they are 60 years and above.
All these above homes we provide the following services:
- Nutritious food, Refreshments, tea snacks etc.
- Medical Health check-up and provide medicines and follow up.
- Reading News paper, books, magazines etc.
- Playing various games carom board, Dhayam etc.
- Recreation facilities like Radio and TV.
- Outings visits to historical places and temples etc.
- Adult education etc.
- Distribution of oil, bathing soaps, washing soaps etc.
- Distribution of Dhothis and Sarees two time in a year etc.
